Growing up, my parents cooked simple and healthy, and touted my garlic bread as the greatest invention ever.
By unsheathing some pre-sliced bread, dousing it with olive oil, a dash of parmesan and garlic salt, followed by a short stint in the toaster oven, I produced a sudden gastronomic sensation.
An ego was born. When I shipped off to college, I discovered amazing foods that had never been tasted before β only before seen in the unhealthy π« school lunchboxes of my peers.
So as I devoured these new foods filled with rich and unexpected flavors, I decided to learn a few standby recipes that were not only delicious, but also healthy for my body and brain while staying true to my humble beginnings. First, I learned a simple but drool-worthy salad, so it is my inaugural recipe on here.
I donβt claim to be any sort of chef, or anything close to your maternal grandmother who can quell a family feud with the smell of her famous lasagna.
But, I do claim to have recorded my favorite wow-the-crowd ADHD-friendly recipes in a simple, easy way that I hope your taste buds and your brain will delight in devouring.
